The Veisik Hemochron
Necromancer Candidate
The Blood Asks Why.
You stripped the names from every problem until only its structure remained. Feeling did not vanish. You simply refused to let it vote.
House Veisik is the brain of the Underworld. Logic is their faith, progress their creed, and perfection the only acceptable result. Few Converts are ever sent to Novacrypt. The Houses do not waste a mind like yours on the factory floor.
The man in blue leans forward. For the first time, the panes of light in front of him stop scrolling.
“Remarkable. Almost no emotional interference. The most brilliant of us earn the title of Necromancer, the creators and caretakers of the Death Heads. It takes centuries. You may have the temperament for it.”
Perfection by any means. They will expect you to mean it.
“Genetic correspondence confirmed. House Veisik will receive you.”
